When we first started exploring options for me, she noted that my pre-approval and down payment assistance were a bit unconventional, and recommended me to another program and loan officer that allowed me to get a higher loan amount, which really opened many more doors for my home search. Lara and I looked at 6 or 7 homes together, I think, and she was very upfront about things she didn't like about the homes and potential issues, and I really feel like she had my best interests in mind.
